School Visits!
As someone who predominately writes stories for and about children, I always look forward to more opportunities to interact and connect with more of them. I am currently available for visits for Finch House, Camp Twisted Pine (ages 8-12), and Something Kindred (ages 12-18). My visits consist of a 25-30 minute author talk and presentation, followed by a student Q&A.
I am local to the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia) and while I typically do classroom and auditorium visits, I am also open to book clubs, student interviews, and more. Feel free to ask!
For local Title I schools, it’s possible to do book buys rather than an honorarium. For those, I work with Politics and Prose in D.C.
Visit Types Offered:
Half Day: Up to three presentations throughout the day + signing.
Full Day: One presentation + signing.
Virtual: One 45 minute to one hour virtual visit.
